So what can we do on our page???

Ok, time to get creative. What else can we do on the page? What more can we do to get the word out? And finally, what would you guys want to change, make different etc. Here's a place to get some ideas, check it out a post on creativity at Let My People Read.

have mods who don't make up rules on the spot
have rules for posting
and either I'm crazy or my audio player disappeared from my page since my last login, maybe look into that?

The link is fixed (along with my spelling!). I got rid of chat because it didn't seem useful. However if enough people want it back, them I will bring it back. Pics, ummm, I'm still thinking on that. We'll create rules for the page soon enough. I thought I got rid of audio for the front page, not for everyone else. I'll work on that. Sorry. Thanks for the feed back. Any ideas on how to promote this place?

For getting the word out, there is a contest at TheGiveaway.com to win a 125x125 banner ad for a month on a site that has 20k visitors a month, but a small percentage of that is probably our target audience.

Admins who make up rules on the spot until there are officials rules is fine. After that, they should be subject to that, but involved in the legislative process when there is a new concern to be added, if you feel so inclined.

The chat wasn't useful. No one is ever on at the same time. The forums are good enough. I'm neutral on the pics. I mean, you allow HTML still, so we can just upload to Photobucket and display here when necessary. Or you could have a 5 picture limit or something.

The conference i blogged about should have some good ideas. I don't know what else. I joined here because i don't know the answer to the questions. I was curious what this would be all about.
