As I was studying the word murder/kill in the bible its seems to relate to homicide.

Does scripture talk about taking a life in self defense?

Ok I'll bite and say I think that there is a time to kill as Ecclesiates says. More so, we see in the OT that idea, though not so much in the NT. Thoughts?
